Here's what I think .... Vince has proven himself in "big game" situations. David has not. Still Vince could have a standout game Sunday and the Titans may still lose. That's how motivated the Texans are right now.
The fact is some of the Texans probably would have liked to have had Vince as their teammate but with so many people telling the Texans that they WON'T be able to beat the "inVINCEable" one .... you can bet the Texans will do everything in their power to win this game Sunday.
I really feel this is an important game for David. Those of us who observe the Texans closely know that David has had numerous chances over the past 5 seasons to step up and make the plays that it takes to win games ...but very rarely has he done that. This may be that game. Then again it may not be.
We all know this ....Vince can step up and "will" his teams to victory ... even when everything is crashing down around him. David has yet to show that ability. There's no doubt that this could be that "watershed" game David Carr lovers and haters have been waiting for. The question is .....which ones will be happy after this one .... the admirers or the detractors. I look for a very close game with the winner getting a big play from their quarterback in the closing moments. Although I wanted the Texans to draft Vince ..... I'm picking the home team to win this one 31 to 28.
