December 2006 ArchivesThe Texans have not completely closed the door Before offering my two cents , I'd like to go on record I've been to bowl games as a player and a reporter, and each The Cowboys were a division 1 school then and our conference Even at 60 "Rocky" still packs a punch .But what about The answer to that is a resounding yes, when he's healthy. According to Rockets Vice President of Operations and Athletic Trainer Okay, last winter after the Rose Bowl I told you the Texans should draft Vince Young but right about now .....I've really gotten tired of saying that. ...Just when I thought I had seen it all, now this. 39 yards at warp speed with amazing grace (although it wasn't a prayer) for the game winner against the Texans. Vince YOUNG is MAN among boys... like no other player I have ever seen. I can remember a few years back when he was playing for Madison High School. Don't get me wrong, it's hard to win in the NFL and a win is a win, but what we saw in the bay area will never be forgotten, not because of incredible athletic manuverability, but because of the Texans strange offensive strategy. How can you possibly walk off the field feeling good as an offense when you only net a minus five yards passing and it was a nice day. It wasn't the same scenerio as the last time something like that happened and the team won. It was another Houston team and I was on the... |
