Look, I want to see the Tour Championship played without
Tiger Woods, like I want to see Kirsty Alley on Oprah in her bikini .
But the truth be told , Mr. Woods has earned
the right to do whatever he wants to on tour.
Just look at the numbers ,Tiger is the tour. He's won 8 times
this season, no one else on tour has more than 2 victories .
In fact, Shakira had more wins at the latin grammys last night taking home four.
So why shouldn't Tiger be able to play when he wants to ?
Its not like these guys are going to beat him anyway.
Only 8 players in the 27-man field managed to break par on the openning day.
Tiger has certainly raised the prize money per event over the years.
If T.W. is playing, the sponsers want to be a part of your event.
The problem for the tour is when Woods is not playing
the interest is down. Would you rather watch Joe Durant and
Stewart Cink, or the Broncos banging heads against
the Steelers? For you to answer that question I would have
to explain who's Joe Durant and Stewart Cink.
In professional sports , no one player is bigger than
the game. But right now when it comes to golf
Tiger is the game.
