He came into the big apple with a 300 pound gorilla on his back,
and almost left with a stunning upset over the Giants .

No one could really blame Carr if he was looking over his shoulder in
Gotham , or if Gary Kubiak had a quick hook .
Thankfully , neither one was necessary.

Carr turned in a solid performance vs the G-men , completing 21 of 30
passes for 176 yards . But it was the way that he managed the game that
was really impressive.

He excuted Kubiak's game plan with the skill of a surgeon, keeping the Giants
off balance.
At one point taking the Texans on an 18 play , 80 yard drive.
David capped off the drive by diving into the endzone head first
for the touchdown.

The veteran showed a toughness the new coaching staff had been
were waiting to see . He was a real leader on the field , and his teammates
were trilled to see him have some sucess.

Now , the key for Carr is, can he repeat the performance . If he does, even
the most vocal Carr haters might have to show him a little love.
