You have to be hard pressed to remember a weekend when some many teams did so well. Both Texas and Texas A&M had thrilling victories, while Rice and the University of Houston also marched on. And how about the Texans, maybe they should wear red every week? It looks like it makes for easier targets for quarterback David Carr. How many times have the Texans said this season, if we run the ball well, we'll be fine. Guess what rookie Wali Lundy ran the ball well, and they did fine. (And they say football is a complicated game.) The only downer of the weekend, Texas Southern losing a heart breaker to Mississippi Valley State. Heck even the Rockets beat the Spurs, even if it was only a preseason game.
