Houston is there a problem at quarterback?

Texans quarterback David Carr spent most of the second
half vs the Titans watching the action.

He had a stunned look in his eyes. We've seen it before,
usually when he's getting sacked .
But on Sunday, it was coach Gary Kubiak doing the sacking,
benching Carr in favor of backup Sage Rosenfels.

Now I know a lot of you fans blame David Carr for everything but
the Kennedy assassination. Truth be told, Carr was having
a pretty soild season until the nightmare in Music City.

Benching Carr was Kubiak's way of saying we will do things
my way. It was the right move. It is also the right move to stay the course,
and keep David Carr in the starting lineup .

I understand Rosenfels came in cold and tossed 3 touchdown passes .
He was also calm , cool, collected , and showed a lot poise under pressure .
But Sage Rosenfels won't be the future for the Texans, but Carr might be.
Either way the Texans and Gary Kubiak need to find out now.

Carr should be given every opportunity to succeed,
and not just because the team gave him an 8 million dollar bonus.

Granted, at times he looked like a fish out of water vs the Titans.
while the rookie Vince Young protected the ball and made some
big plays, Carr looked uncertain.
The Texans will take a lot of heat when the fans start to compare notes.

If Carr had to fall off the wagon, he picked the worst possible game to do it .
The matchup vs Houston native Vince Young was overhyped .
The game was under a mircoscope in Houston.

Everyone saw David fumble twice and toss a costly interception.
But now is not the time to make a change.

David Carr has a lot of up side, the size , the speed , and the arm strength.
Coach Kubiak's job is to fine some way to fix the mental part, the decision
making process. Until he does ,a lot fans are going to be chanting for Sage.
