With the playoffs out of reach for the Texans this week's game against the Cowboys is the biggest of the season. It's been 5 seasons since the opening 19-10 shocker in front of a national television audience, and would it be nice to think the Texans have improved each succeeding season. They have not. Certainly the Cowboys are beatable, but so are the Texans. The defense just didn't get well in one week even if they did handle the Miami Dolphins. The Cowboys are coming off a tough loss in Philadelphia, and they will be hungry to get back winning. The Texans enjoyed a bye week, but no the challenge is to make sure the vacation doesn't last another weekend. It would be nice to think the Texans are on the brink of winning consistently, but as long is there is no running attack it will be another difficult Sunday afternoon.
