But as great as the winning streak has been,
it would all mean nothing without the Cardinals doing their part .

Heading into the weekend , the Red Birds are very close
to the greatest collapsed in modern day baseball.

I never like to use the word "choke", but the Cardinals
are choking big time.
After dropping 8 of their last 9 and counting .

Meanwhile , the Astros have been calm, cool, and collected ,
winning in every imaginable way. They appear to be
thriving on the stress .

The Cardinals on the other hand , are crumbling like stale crackers
under the heat. They are playing not to lose and we all know
what that means, you usually lose.

Its hard to imagine anything better than the run the astros made in 2005.
But this comeback , should they go on and win the division
proves that miracles don't just happen on ice .

The final weekend sets up with the Astros in Atlanta ,
and the Brewers in St. Louis .

Will the Astros run out of karma, will the Cardinals
