In the blink of an eye it was over .
There was no time to run to the fridge for a beer
or a snack .

If you did , you missed the first two touchdowns as
the Colts blasted the Texans 43-to-24.

On the first play from scrimmage , Colts lineman Robert Mathis
was on David Carr before he could setup for the first
sack of the game. Carr fumbled the snap on the next play
and Raheem Brock jumped on the ball for Indianapolis ,
putting Peyton Manning in point blank range.

From there , Manning tossed a 10 yard touchdown
pass to Brandon Stokley and the Colts were on
their way to their 9th consective win over the Texans.

Manning was outstanding , passing for 400 yards and
3 touchdowns . He also broke Johnny Unitas' franchise
record for completions .

Meanwhile , after falling behind 30-to- 3 the Texans finally
generated some offense. Carr completed touchdown passes
to rookie Owen Daniels , Jay Bruener, and Andre Johnson .

If you look at the numbers Carr was 22 of 26 for 219 yards.
But he was also sacked 4 times , and fumbled 3 times.
Head coach Gary Kubiak said ,"David battled hard and did
some things well, but he has to learn to play for 4 quarters.
When he does that we'll be a better team."

Ron Dayne was the Texans leading rusher with 37 yards .
Next week the Texans will host the Redskins in a battle
of 0-and-2 teams at Reliant Stadium.
