Are three backs better than one?

With the Bush administration underway in New Orleans, and
Domanick Davis training his pit bulls while recovering
from knee surgery, the Texans best bet might be
a running back by committee.

At least until someone can separate themselves from the pack.
Will it be rookie Wali Lundy, veteran Ron Dayne, or the newest
Texan Samkon Gado.

Right now my money's on Gado . He told me on Wednesday
He's adjusting to life in Houston, Gado went on to say, "I'm by myself,
I'm single with no family so I'm married to the playbook."

He also has Texans Asst. Head Coach, Mike Sherman on
his side. Sherman watched him come off the bench and rush
for more than 500 yards in 8 weeks last season in Green Bay.

Now this is not to say that the Texans are ready to close the
book on Ron Dayne or Wali Lundy. Coach Kubiak had Dayne last year
in Denver and liked him enough to bring him to Houston.
Dayne also had some moments in that nightmare in Indianapolis
last Sunday. But I just feel like when its all said and done,
Gado will be the man. He's a power runner with the ability to
pickup the tough yardage inside and break the long one.

Samkon beat the odds in Green Bay and you shouldn't be suprised
if he does it again here in Houston.
