CVSD logo.jpgCucamonga Valley Water District (CVWD/District) has a new Car Wash Coupon Program. A kickoff event will take place at Los Osos Car Wash, at 10431 Alta Loma Drive, Rancho Cucamonga, at 10 a.m., Monday, Oct. 20.
Continuing in their mission of being stewards of all natural resources, the Car Wash Coupon Program will encourage customers to practice environmental efficiency.
The Car Wash Coupon Program will reward customers for signing up for one of two types of billing options offered by CVWD, with the benefit of conserving our earth's precious resources. One billing option is E-Z Pay, which allows customers' bills to be automatically deducted from their checking account. The second billing option is E-billing, which enables customers to receive and pay bills electronically through e-mail. While signing up for these programs makes bill paying more convenient, it also helps customers practice sustainability by reducing paper waste. The incentive of a car wash coupon provides participants with an added bonus of saving water, as commercial car washes save 25 percent or more water compared to hand-washing vehicles at home.
Four car washes served by CVWD are participating in the program, including Los Osos Car Wash, ProntoWash Auto Spa, Deer Creek Car Wash, and Rancho Car Wash & Detail.
The program will run through June 30, 2009 and is available to all CVWD customers. To sign up for the payment options, customers must call Customer Service or visit www.cvwdwater.com. The car wash coupons have a value of $5 to $15, and will be mailed to customers once their E-Z Pay or E-billing application has been received.
