Cynthia owns a store called Sweet and Sassy located in Highland Village. It is a salon, spa and celebration store for little girls (with a large retail area). From day one, moms from the neighborhood would come in and strike up conversations with Cynthia about how to start a business. Every one of the moms had great ideas and dreams but did not have a way or outlet to spread their wings...so, she started giving them that opportunity.

Right now she has 2 brand new "Mompreneurs" displaying and selling products in the store to test the waters. One of them is Susan Parish, owner of T-Shirt Tutus. These are the cutest little shirts for girls that are hemmed with Tutus. Now, every day, your little girl can feel like a princess or ballerina. Another Momprenuer is Kim Hoover, owner and designer of La-Dee-Das! Kim makes custom bows that really jazz up any outfit.

She writes, "I believe whole heartily that women have to fight harder and be stronger to be heard and succeed but with this upward climb we are rewarded with an outcome we can be proud of at the finish line. My mother was a single mom of three girls and made sure we always knew that whatever we wanted we could have with hard work. On her own she raised us and all three graduated from college and are very successful in the career paths we choose. Although I am happily married of 17 years, I want my daughter to know that women can be success because of brains and hard work and with this in mind I support "Mompreneurs" - actually, I support all girl / female / women / mom entrepreneurs - if you have a product, idea, solution, etc. I am that person to call because I believe in the future of "girl power"!"
