You've heard of the 7 Deadly Sins - Pride, Envy, Gluttony, Lust, Anger, Greed and Sloth? It's hard to know if these are bred internally (Human Nature) or bred externally (Evils of the Earth). Either way, we all struggle with at least a few of these sins on a daily basis.

Enter Tyler Merrick. Tyler created something called Project 7 - kinda like a positive spin on this whole "deadly sin" notion. He sells water bottles and gum to local vendors and then writes a check representing 50% of the profits to deserving non-profit organizations. In essence, he turned the whole greed and envy stuff on its ear and is hoping to inspire others to do the same.

Tyler also builds on the notion of 7 by donating to 7 charities, which combat 7 causes, and shutting his doors every 7th day to do 7 hours of volunteering (do you see a pattern here?). The 7 causes include: Feed the Hungry, Save the Earth, Build the Future, House the Homeless, Heal the Sick, Help those in Need, and Hope for Peace.
