Walt Disney. What a visionary! He was quoted as saying, “People should never forget, it all started with a mouse.” The truth is, it all started with a man and a dream AND a mouse.

One of the highlights of my recent Disney trip was going through his museum located at Hollywood Studios. What intrigued me most about his life was his willingness to risk it all and chance the dream. He gained and lost fortunes several times as he embarked on the latest of his visions. Still, he never lost sight of his dreams and continued to chase after them with faith, hope and yes, a little bit of pixie dust.

The last night we were there, we watched “Fantasmic!” a Disney show that combines dancing water with extraordinary animation. I couldn’t help but to think about Mr. Disney himself and how proud he would be that his legacy continues and that Disney remains the most magical place on earth.
