I was running late this morning. As I was sitting at the longest red light known to man, I started dishing out the blame. This was NOT my fault. The fault could be found with my family members for keeping me up the night before. Culprit One: My Husband Culprit Two: My Dog Culprit Three: My Son Now that I was in traffic, a new culprit emerged. The idiot truck driver who stood still in front of me even when the longest light known to man finally turned green. I know I should take some personal responsibility and admit that if I had gotten up when my alarm rang, I would not sprinting to the office door in my high-heels. But blaming is so much easier. After all, I don’t have time for self improvement and accountability – especially when a coworker hogs the microwave in the break room making me late for my next meeting! |
