Part Four: Road Trip to Lake House Somewhere in Wisconsin

The God’s were on our side when our six pieces of luggage arrived. In addition, because the Green Bay airport is so small, the rental car stand was located within spitting distance of baggage claim. We loaded up the car and headed north up the coast of Wisconsin. Although we didn’t spot any roadside charming cheese houses (not that it mattered – my husband was not about to pull over), the scenery was beautiful. Lots of trees, lots of lush farm lands, and dozens of cherry orchards. I had no idea Wisconsin was a cherry capital! When we finally arrived, our friends met us and our vacation officially began.
