When we arrived in Chicago, my husband looked at his family of weary travelers and decided to ante-up for an overnight stay at the airport hotel rather than taking a shuttle to Motel Cheapo four miles away. What a treat! Daddy took the kids swimming while I stayed in the room and ordered room service. My kids had never experienced such luxury. They squealed when the sliver covers were removed and hamburgers and grilled cheese sandwiches were revealed. They loved the mini bottles of ketchup and mustard and we ate like royalty until the boys started fighting over the last french-fry.
