Well it happened. For the first time, someone asked me if they saw me on T.V. I was ordering food and the man behind the counter knew who I was. The conversation went something like this… “Aren’t you on TV?” “Yes”, I replied grinning to myself and relishing in my fame. Other people started to look, eager to see a television personality. I have to admit, I was loving it! “Well since you’re on TV and all, I thought I should tell you that you have something black all over your lower lip. It looks like chocolate or eyeliner or something.” I, of course, began wiping furiously trying to get whatever it was off of my mouth. However, with each wipe, my new friend said, “It’s still there and now it is smeared up on your cheek.” Other people tried to pitch in and help. “Wipe more here.” “Now over here.” I finally had to make a break for the bathroom. It was black ink – the result of a nasty pen biting habit. It took me 5 minutes to get it off. Maybe I’m not cut out for stardom. 4 CommentsLeave a comment |
