I am not trying to be mean, but, in my opinion, Girls' Night Out is consistently more fun than Date Night with your husband. You avoid sensitive subjects like money, kids, in-laws, etc. You don't have to shave your legs, you can order what you want, and enjoy flirting with the waiter.

I went out with my girlfriend last night and had a blast. We laughed until we cried. We had conversations with other diners. We sampled different wines and ordered desert. The best part of being out with the girls is that there are no expectations of hanky panky as a gesture of gratitude for the evening out.

No offense men - occasionally giving up romance in order to spend an hour talking about decorating, fashion, and McDreamy versus McSteamy is a sacrifice worth taking.
