Dinner at the Ventana Room with the Mrs. America Contestants
The 2007 Mrs. America contestants, the Mrs. America staff, and I had an amazing dinner at the Ventana Room at the Loews Ventana Resort. This restaurant was voted the "most romantic" restaurant in America! We had beautiful views of the Tucson mountains and saguaro cactus. The contestants had an opportunity to thank Brian Johnson, Manager of the Loews Resort, by presenting him with a gift from their state. I gave a welcome speech then introduced each contestant before they spoke about their gifts. It was a pleasure getting to know each contestant and talk about their community service platforms. It's going to be an exciting two weeks!

I have missed talking to you and seeing you in Tuscon. I had such a lovely time and felt so honored to have spent time with you. You truly are an amazing women and I am so proud to have you representing married women across the world.
