4th of July Celebration!
My family and I attended the 4th of July festivities in my hometown Sierra Vista, Arizona. I had a great time judging the Talent Show and Chili Cook-Off at the Veterans' Memorial Park sponsored by the San Pedro Kiwanis. All proceeds went to Just Kids, Inc., a non-profit organization to help children learn leadership skills, develop strong moral character, and encourage loyalty to the school, community and nation. Thank you so much to Radio Host, Grady Butler at K101 FM, for allowing me to speak about the "The National Anthem Project," the Mrs. World Organization, and my platform "Breast Cancer Awareness." We enjoyed watching the spectacular fireworks accompanied by patriotic songs performed by the Fort Huachuca Army Band.
