This was a very special Memorial Day remembering those who have lost their lives supporting our country. Those heroic soldiers are always in our thoughts and prayers. It was a pleasure to attend the "Davis Monthan Air Force Base Community Center's May Self-Improvement Overhaul." I met families who have a loved one in currently stationed in Iraq and met soldiers who are on their way and will be stationed for one year. It was wonderful to see so many families come together at the Community Center for support. Thank you so much to my friend Jami Amidon and the staff at the Community Center for inviting me to this wonderful event.

Thank you so much to Denise Pitts, Founder of the Halo Foundation, for allowing myself, my mom Lorraine, the Mrs. Arizona America contestants, and former Mrs. Arizonas to model in the "Denim and Ice" fashion show. The Halo Foundation brings hope and care to Arizona's children and families that have been affected by a child's near-drowning. Thank you to Diane Ritter, Debbie Castaldo, and Debbie Gaby for your hard work. We appreciate those who helped raised funds for Halo's educational programs.

It was an honor to speak at the Tucson Association of Realtors breakfast meeting. Thank you so much to Connie, Courtney, Rick, and Sandra for inviting me to speak about my platform Breast Cancer Awareness, the Mrs. World Organization, leadership skills, and success. Thank you to the members for participating in non-profit organizations such as "Habitat for Humanity" and giving back to our community.

I enjoyed modeling at "Puttin' on the Dog," the 9th Annual Fashion Show and Auction for the Humane Society of Southern Arizona. The Humane Society is a nonprofit organization dedicated to the general welfare, sheltering, prevention of cruelty, overpopulation, and education concerning humane treatment of animals. I had a blast with little "Pancho." Luckily he was recently adopted by one of the Humane Society's employees. It was a pleasure to see Heather Rowe from Channel 13 news, Dr. Richard Carmona- 17th Surgeon General of the United States, and John and Susie- owners of Maya Palace.
