Race for the Cure!
Posted April 26, 2007
Thank you so much to all volunteers and participants for your support of the Ninth Annual Southern Arizona Race for the Cure. We had over 13,000 participants and raised $975,000! It was an honor to serve as the "Honorary Chair" to help promote the Race at local businesses, schools, and civic organizations. Thank you for your tremendous support in providing funds for research, education, screening, and treatment.

Getting Ready for the Race for the Cure!
Posted April 20, 2007
I had a blast promoting for the "Southern Arizona Race for the Cure," scheduled for this Sunday at Reid Park. Local radio stations invited me as their guest to give details about the Race, breast cancer myths and facts, recommendations for early detection, and "Kids for the Cure." The radio hosts also ask questions about the Mrs. World Organization and National Anthem Project. Thank you so much to Emery Nicoletti, host of Tucson's "The Jolt" on 1330 AM and to Jenny and Blake from 92.9 The Mountain.
