Another Busy Day

Rodeo Grounds. We had a great day watching bull riding and barrel racing. For every ticket purchased at Safeway, $5 went towards the Southern Arizona Affliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Thank you to my wonderful father in-law, Ed, for the cowgirl hat. Sorry I had to cover the Alabama football logo with my crown!

During my interview with Dara, I spoke about my platform and distributed materials on Early Detection and Breast Health Facts.

Had a blast with the Komen volunteers distributing Komen materials.

Pictured with 6th and 7th graders at Billy Lane Lauffer Middle School. I spoke about The National Anthem Project, the secrets to success, and why college is so important in life. At the end of my speech I asked if they had any questions and ALL of them raised their hands. This was an excellent group of students.

Pictured with the Teacher, Heather Woods. I presented her with The National Anthem Project Gold Medallion, and she gave me a beautiful rhinestone pink ribbon necklace. Thank you Heather!

Some of the students wanted to try on the crown!
