High Twelve and Masonic Club Meeting & U of A Homecoming!
Posted November 17, 2006
It was a pleasure speaking to the High Twelve and Masonic Club meeting in Sierra Vista about my platform Breast Cancer Awareness. Thank you so much Bob and Lily Whitney for inviting me to your club meeting. We appreciate the High Twelve members and Masons for all your community service and charity work in southern Arizona.
Proud Alumni at the University of Arizona Homecoming Parade! Thank you Tom Mangold for driving me in your beautiful Corvette.

Making Strides
Posted November 16, 2006
Thank you so much for those of you who participated in this year's American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk. A special thanks to my husband Thomas, my mom Lorraine, Larry, Patti, Courtney, Connie, Deanne, Cathy, and friends at the National Association of Professional Mortgage Women for your help with the team! Thanks for making this walk a great success. We had over 3,600 at the Tucson Race and raised over $ 190,000 in the fight against breast cancer. I look forward to next year's event!

Another Busy Day
Posted November 10, 2006
Rodeo Grounds. We had a great day watching bull riding and barrel racing. For every ticket purchased at Safeway, $5 went towards the Southern Arizona Affliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation. Thank you to my wonderful father in-law, Ed, for the cowgirl hat. Sorry I had to cover the Alabama football logo with my crown!
During my interview with Dara, I spoke about my platform and distributed materials on Early Detection and Breast Health Facts.
Had a blast with the Komen volunteers distributing Komen materials.
Pictured with 6th and 7th graders at Billy Lane Lauffer Middle School. I spoke about The National Anthem Project, the secrets to success, and why college is so important in life. At the end of my speech I asked if they had any questions and ALL of them raised their hands. This was an excellent group of students.
Pictured with the Teacher, Heather Woods. I presented her with The National Anthem Project Gold Medallion, and she gave me a beautiful rhinestone pink ribbon necklace. Thank you Heather!
Some of the students wanted to try on the crown!
