Shopping with the Gals!
This morning we had a delicious brunch at the "North" restaurant at the new La Encantada mall. Then we had a quick hour to do some speedy shopping! They were so generous with an entire bag full of discount coupons! They really know the way to a gal’s heart! Four contestants, Mrs. New Hampshire (Jessica), Mrs. Alabama (Monica), Mrs. Connecticut (Billy Jo), and Mrs. California (Cheryl), and I piled up in my car and we had a blast getting pedicures and tanning! I know... rough day!

This evening we had an amazing dinner at El Charro Café downtown. We received our crazy, busy schedules for tomorrow starting with a swimsuit photo shoot at 6:00 a.m. and ending with dance rehearsal from 7-10 p.m. I am looking forward to tomorrow's Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation seminar and the President's dinner with David Marmel, CEO of the Mrs. America Pageant.
My director, Diane Ritter arrives tomorrow and will be filling in this blog for me as our schedule is getting crazy! I will write when I can but she will keep you "posted" on all of the events and tons of photos!
Thank you so much Jaime and Mark, George and Cindy, Corrie, and Stacey and Mayda for the gorgeous flowers. My hotel room looks so beautiful now. Thank you to Ali for the card, energy mixes, and goodies, Ozzie for your beautiful message and card, Diane Ritter for the awesome bath basket and MacKenzie for the fax.
Gotta go!

Gee, I can't believe you can fit all these activities into one day for two weeks straight and still look as fresh and beautiful as you do! What's your secret? It is good to see that you handle all this with such grace and a positive attitude. Your year as Mrs. America will indeed be a busy one so get used to it!
Love you,
Jaime

I have really enjoyed your blogsite this year. You have done a great job keeping everyone updated. I competed last year as Mrs. Maryland in Palm Springs. Of course, Patty is my friend and this year's Mrs. MD.
I have compiled your photos along with the photos from many other blog sites into one location. www.snapfish.com
To date, there are over 260 pics in the album. The login username is mrsamerica06@yahoo.com and the password is palmsprings, if you would like to view everyone's pictures.
The resolution varies, depending on how the ladies uploaded their pics to their blogsites. All the ladies may upload to this album or create their own to share.
I am sending this to the "power bloggers", please share this with the other contestants, so you all have access to all the wonderful photos.
My time at Mrs. America was one of the best experiences of my life and I know you all will treasure your memories. I am just trying to help you gals put it in one place.
Good luck during your final few days, treasure the memories forever!!
All my best

It really looks like you're having a blast with everything. I hope the best for you and your future Mrs. America title. That's gonna be exciting to see your name in lights. I can't wait to tell all of my friends that MY cousin is the Mrs. America (and future Mrs. World). LOL, I really wish you the best of luck. I'm sorry I can't make it to the pagaent but I don't have a suit readily available (or 75 dollars for that matter). You were in college once not too long ago, I'm sure you know where I'm coming from. Well, tomorrow is your big night, bet you are very busy. Hope to see you soon with Grandma Mary and family. Good luck and remember to have fun!!

Diane-
Can't wait to scream for you tomorrow. Look out Tucson, the Mrs. AZ clan is coming to cheer for their girl!!! It's gonna be scary loud every time they call your name. I kind of feel badly for the other contestants. They are going to think there are only AZ fans in the house! Oh well. Home field advantage baby!!!! Not that you would really need an advantage. You are already a star. Remember that the hard part is over. Just relax, have fun, and show 'em what you got! See you tomorrow!!!!
With a smile,
Rosalie

Hi there Diane,
How did the pictures come out with all of us at the Catalina Foothills polling location on election day? I was wondering if you had time to post the pics? All of us came home and told our families that we had met you and how lovely and pleasant you were when we met. Let me know, if you would, when the pics might be posted ... thank you! :o)
