Fast, Faster, Fastest... lips move at the speed of Qwest.

One of my favorite markets is Arizona. Why? Because besides the fact that some of my high school friends have moved there, that the weather is fantastic and that I get to do my cool sand dune buggy riding in the desert, I also have done commercials, promos, motivational talks, and fundraisers for that market, not to mention... this wonderful blog originates from Arizona!
So when Qwest contacted me and asked if I'd like to come onboard as a spokesperson to demonstrate my fast-talking, and let people know about the different speeds of Qwest, I was game.
After several emails I was flown out to Denver to meet both the Qwest team and the PR firm that I would be working with. My initial meeting was to outfit me in Qwest clothing and do a brief media training so I would understand all that Qwest had to offer the consumer.
As with anything, I have to try out the product before I would feel comfortable promoting it. So they let me play for an hour on the computer checking out my websites, seeing how fast things would load, looking for the ease of navigation, etc.
I realized one thing quickly. It was better than the carrier I had back home. I was thrilled.
The plan for utilizing my skills was simple... there was a Tempe Festival of the Arts that was coming to Phoenix. Qwest was a major sponsor and they wanted someone at the Qwest tent to have fun with people dropping by the booth. Since I love interacting with people, and get a kick out of watching them laugh when I do my fast-talking it just seemed like a natural fit. Not to mention that I would also get to do some TV and radio interviews and let people know about a great product and myself.
The day before the festival I was flown into Phoenix, to meet with Kate, Missy and Dwyer.

Christmas through the eyes of a Child and How to carry that spirit into the New Year.
Posted January 18, 2008

They say the best time to act on an opportunity is when it arises... so without hesitation when my good friends Art and Susan Zuckerman (The couple that I do my fast talking celebrity New York City tours with) called and invited me and my mom down to Florida to their time share, my wheels started spinning.
Unfortunately my mom was not up for the trip... but my seven-year- old adorable niece; Athena had never been to Disney. What could make a better Christmas gift and real first adventure with Aunt Frannie, than to the land of magic castles and princesses?
It started out simply that I would take her to Disney. But as always I like to expand on the simple. I knew I had only 4 days, Dec. 26- 30th to work with, since my sister would want to spend Christmas with her daughter, and of course have her home so that Santa could magically bring her gifts. On the other end, I wanted to be back by the 30th, because I didn't want my mom spending New Years alone, since my sister had a belly-dancing gig that night. Time wise, Sue and Art's time-share began on Dec. 28th, so I had to make other arrangements for the other two nights. My son, Spencer was also invited, and he and the Zuckerman's' kid, Scott made a road trip out of it and drove down. Eventually would all converge in the time-share and it would be one big party.
Here's how it all panned out.
