I'm a regular with theThursday-night lineup of Scrubs, 30 Rock, and The Office. Rest of the week? Not so funny.

So it's great to have another comedy to love, finally. Notes From the Underbelly stars Jennifer Westfeldt (an actress I loved in Kissing Jessica Stein, one of my favorite girlie movies of all time) as a guidance counselor in L.A. who is pregnant for the first time. Her husband and close girlfriends (one a hard-driving lawyer, another a trend-happy homemaker who has just had a child) are a bit more quirky and true-to-life than you usually see in sitcom land.

It's on Wednesdays before Lost, so it's also good to have something light to enjoy before going down that rabbit hole.

If you have a little ones...and especially little ones that go to daycare, this little Nap Pak is awesome! My children both have them and they are perfect because they have a little pillow, a blanket and padding to make nap time really cozy and comfortable.

Anyone wanting something a little more thoughtful, a little deeper than what you find in most parenting magazines should check out Brain, Child. It is a great mix of essays, articles and commentary that really makes you think about the the exhilarating endeavor of raising children.
You may not always agree with the viewpoints -- I certainly don't -- but it's interesting to consider parenting topics through a variety of perspectives.
I gave subscriptions to several mom friends last year and they loved it, too.
