No-Stress Dinners
This is not exactly NEW. It's been around for a couple of years, now. But have you heard of Super Suppers? Can I just say it saves me so much stress? I LOVE it!
Who hasn't had this conversation:
"What do you want for dinner?"
"I don't know... What do you want?"
And if you ask anyone under seven that question, you know the answer won't be a healthy choice.
I discovered Super Suppers before it franchised. It actually started in Fort Worth at the Fort Worth Culinary Institute, and now they're found across the country. It's like having your own, private sous chef!
There are a couple of ways to approach Super Suppers.
It can be a fun, social evening out with the girls. You and a friend (or several) can sign up for a class at a franchise near you, and while listening to music and sipping wine, you assemble meals. You can choose six or 12 full-size meals (serves 4-6). And if you have a small family or maybe you're single, you can store the dinners in half-portions.
Each month, there's a new menu, and some of the most popular dishes will come back around.
The other way to use Super Suppers... MY FAVORITE WAY... is to pick out the meals that sound good, and ask the lovely Super Suppers people prepare them FOR you. (There is an assembly charge, but what the heck?)
So, once you have your meals, you put them in the freezer. Please note, the meals are not pre-cooked. They're just PREPARED for you to cook.
I like that because I feel like I'm actually making my family a home-cooked meal. All I have to add is a side dish, like a salad or a vegetable. Maybe bread. And when you do the math, the meals aren't much more expensive than going through the drive-thru, but they're so much tastier and healthier.
And you don't have to eat in the car.

Ah. What can I tell you? The Fish City Fish Tacos are the best anywhere. I dream of them. I fantasize of splitting a plate with my friends. They have several locations, but the Preston Royal location seems to have the best tacos. We change 'em a bit and order them with blackened tilapia.....YUM!

Most gals probably have no idea who Gordon Keith is. But ask a few guy friends and they'll probably start laughing to themselves before they answer you. "Gordo" as he's known on the popular radio station "The Ticket" (see? That's why most of us don't know this guy) just started a new TV show.
YUM! YUM! I love the gnocchi at Isabella's in Frisco. This is a fairly new restaurant and I have eaten there twice and literally dreamed about the food after I left. My husband has dine there at least a dozen or more times and is on the first name basis with everyone...it's that good. Wonderful italian food that just melts in your mouth. Try it!
These three women have to be some of the funniest women I have ever listened to. I don't even know how to describe them. You MUST check them out on XM radio at 4-7 PM daily. I have learned lots of new words listening to them. Be prepared..they curse and they will say anything! Self-described: "Meet the Broads - real-life friends Shari, Molly, and Christine, three points of view, one helluva good time". They are on the Take Five XM 155.
I have been listening to the Answer Bitch on XM Radio Channel 162 for more than a year. If you like an acerbic wit and are interested in Hollywood, you will love it! Check her out on Eonline.com or XM. You can download the podcast and take it on the go, you can listen/watch online or just listen on XM!
I am 38 and have a few wrinkles and imperfections. I tried Stila, Estee Lauder and a few of those mineral powders and they just were not giving me the coverage I needed. This is the greatest...covers without looking like a mask. You gotta try it!
