I don't know about you, but the past few days have had me draggin' and it's only April. Eight years ago, when I last lived here, I tried to use 80 as my threshold for when I'd turn on the A/C. Here we are three days into April and it's been on every day, so I bought me some programmable thermostats - got to keep ahead of those kWh! That's something I'm going to have get used to - electricity deregulation, also new since I've returned. Talk about counting pennies!

The good news in all this is that a strong cold front will sweep across the state late Friday. Behind that front, there's much drier and cooler air. So we'll have some pleasant mornings and sunny, warm, but not muggy afternoons this weekend.
