Last week had to be one of my best weeks for interviews, and I have every expectation to continue that momentum into the coming weeks. I want to thank everyone that has reached out to me after the profile with WFAA and Monika Diaz. I really didn't know what to expect from the interview but there was a lot of love shown from strangers and friends/family alike. I didn't tell anyone but my immediate family that I was going to be profiled and it turns that a lot of people saw the evening news and called to give me information about several different opportunities. So thanks again to everyone that has called to give me a heads up about any new opportunities and to everyone that has simply called to wish me well. This experience is teaching me a lot about myself as it pertains to really being a strong leader and head of a household. I have had to really dig deeper and ask myself what kind of leader do I want to be. The answer is still forthcoming, but I can see the makings of a new man, a new person, maybe even a better father and husband. By all accounts we are a very young family and this is a challenge but, I intend to do everything that I can to make sure we weather this storm. I am reminded of the old adage "Tough times don't last forever but tough people do". My last interview seemed to go well; I think there are some concerns that I may be over qualified for some of the jobs I've applied for. I have done my best to articulate that I my desire to be employed trumps my ego and I've even went as far as doing a presentation to show how my skill set can translate to the companies bottom line. It's a little frustrating when you know you are well qualified but, there are several skilled workers that are unemployed and under employed in this market. So with that said, my resolve is stay focused and keep the faith in myself and God. I know that is where my strength lies.

Hello Ron, I see that you are still unemployed. I'm sure that you will find something, it is all in God's timing. Being a leader of your family is the most important thing. Sometimes we have to put aside our egos and look into what God is really saying. I did call and offer you an opportunity that I know would help you out until you land that dream job you are looking for. I was seeking employment and I got caught up in the age discrimination, no matter how qualified I was. Then this awesome opportunity came to me through prayer and I have not regreted a minute of it. It works and it puts the kind of income you need to support your family. Besides, you are your own CEO of your own company. To me, that is more important than working again for somebody else. I would say to you, talk to God about it and He will show you if this is for you. I gave you me no. and you can call me anytime. 214-392-1755. God bless and keep is my continued prayer...
