Wednesday, October 28, 2009: The Texas Department of Criminal Justice is hiring a Parole Officer III to work at the Regional Hearing Office in Dallas. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree with major course work in Criminal Justice, Law, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Applicants should also have four years full-time, criminal justice or social services experience, including two years in parole, probation, or in conducting or reviewing administrative hearings; OR a current, active license to practice law in Texas, and one year full-time, wage-earning criminal justice or administrative law experience.
