It's time to smash some fat
My husband is embarking on a new diet, with The Fat Smash Diet as his guide.
It seems like the program is a good guide to changing your habits over the course of 90 days. Like most of these plans, it starts with an extreme "detox" period of nine days. During detox, you can't have protein, caffeine, alcohol, bread and lots more.
I can tell my husband is serious about this, and I hope using the program will kick-start better eating habits and weight loss for him.
Me, I'm hoping to lose some weight riding on his coattails. His diet will affect what we have in the house and what we serve at meals, so there's a good chance that I will wind up eating better just being along for the ride.
I'm not going all-out because I know I wouldn't honor the commitment right now. Especially that no caffeine thing. I kept ingesting modest, doctor-approved amounts of caffeine during two pregnancies. If I didn't quit then, I'm not quitting now. Especially with my 11-month-old still awakening during the night and right before the dawn.
