Adventure Boot Camp Day 7, Feel pretty good

jbsm.JPGOkay, okay...I did have two days off to recover and I was not feeling so great on Saturday. My body was just tired from all the workouts over the week and also that early workout time of 5:30a. By Sunday evening, I was feeling better as well. But, I also have to admit that I got back on my anti-inflammatory prescription medicine for my back -- which I am sure benefitted my other aching body parts as well. I also decided to add a protein shake to my diet for energy....and a fat burner. I will let you know if the fat burner does me any good. Linda (the trainer) recommended Thermonex, so I am trying it. I still haven't lost any weight, so I am trying to keep myself motivated in other ways - more muscle, stronger cardio. But, ugh, weight is really what motivates me, so it is hard.

Today, we were locked out of Dr. Pink field at the Dr. Pepper Soccer stadium, so our workout was, well, a bit easy I think because we had to modify it to fit our facility....a very small patch of grass and a little hill. I wanted more cardio, but the situation just wasn't amenable to getting it all done. I am sure we will pay for it tomorrow!

In sum: today I am not sore and my core is feeling stronger. I could actually touch my toes when we were stretching without killing my back, so that is definitely progress. Weight is still 134.5. Dang!

(no entry on my 6th day - I did workout, but I took the day off from work and didn't write!)
