Adventure Boot Camp Day 1
I have always "fancied" myself as an adventurer. I have also always wanted to do a "Boot Camp". Put those two words together and I'm writing a check!
I started Frisco Adventure Boot Camp this morning and it really, really kicked my butt. Really, really. I am almost embarrassed to say that I nearly passed out! I actually saw some stars and things got really quiet right after I got through doing Step-ups, squats, reverse lunges, calf-raises, crunches, ball-pass, mountain climbing and dead lifts for one-minute at a time...non-stop. (And that wasn't all in the hour-long session)
I knew that I would be out-of-shape and in a little bit of trouble, but when I had to sit down on my mat while the other girls got their next set of instructions on running grapevines across the soccer field, I realized....I really, really need this class.
And, so begins my journey through pain, near-puking and hopefully some weight loss! Tonight, I will get all my measurements done and will happily post them here for you to see. I will also post updates so you can see if I am progressing. I should also mention that I am on Weight Watchers as well. Most of my friends don't understand why I want to kill myself because I am basically "normal"...not too skinny, not fat. But, I am unssatisfied with my current profile and want to change it.
My goal: lose 10 lbs., get cut and reduce my body fat %.
Stay tuned.
