Texas Nursery and Landscape Association (Austin, Texas) The Texas Nursery and Landscape Association EXPO returns to the Dallas Convention Center August 13th-16th, 2009 with expanded opportunities and relevant interview availabilities with various keynote speakers. Nursery/Landscape Expo is the South Central United States' largest gathering of green industry professionals including growers' supply companies, decorative plants, grasses and groundcover, business management products, retail nursery/garden centers and more. "This year we've ramped up existing events and brought in new events to make our show even better," said Amy Graham, Vice President of Texas Nursery and Landscape Association. "We are constantly listening to exhibitors and attendees, and making changes to the show to make it even more beneficial for them." A popular feature of EXPO is the Education Conference Sessions that feature speakers on learning to be green. One such presentation will be given by Dotty Woodson, from Texas AgriLife Extension. She will be discussing the merits and benefits of Rainwater Harvesting on Thursday, August 13th, 2009. Dotty Woodson is an Extension Program Specialist for water resources with Texas AgriLife Extension specializing in landscape water conservation, rainwater harvesting, rain gardens, irrigation efficiency and drip irrigation.
