What are we to make of Judge Larry? Unless you were in a TV-free zone for a week, you had to have caught a glimpse of Judge Larry Seidlin's courtroom demeanor. The guy reminds me of a grown-up Fonzie, and he presided over the hearing to determine what would happen to Anna Nicole Smith's remains. Well, he certainly made the most of the worldwide attention. What a character! Seriously. Could he have dragged the matter out any longer? Then.... Never fear, the number-crunchers at PriceWaterhouseCooperandfriends have kept lips sealed about who is actually going to win. Deadline Hollywood Daily is just sharing some scoop on what is planned for Sunday night's show. No matter how drawn-out or goofy the Oscars may get, I'm too b... I know. I know! But c'mon. If Britney's new "don't" isn't an Eyecatcher, I don't know what the definition is. And I feel compelled to comment. So... did ya see it? 6:30 am Valentine's Day - one of News 8's reporters was doing a live shot about a truck accident that was tying up traffic in downtown Dallas. And suddenly, a goofy looking cupid on a cell phone jumps into her live shot and says "Happy Valentine's Day" and hands her a rose. The reporter never missed a beat - kept talking about her story, simultaneously elbowing the Ambush Cupid out of the shot. Her photographer didn't ... Writer and Dallas mom Kim Harwell made me laugh with her look at how her toddler fell under the spell of the purple beast despite the family's best efforts to remain Barney-free. So far, my wee ones (a 2-and-a-half-year-old and an infant) have not become enamored of any characters that would threaten my sanity, although the old... Lots of relationship stories out there for Valentine's Day, with The New York Times getting a lot of traction out of this piece that looks at how couples can find themselves at odds over who's in charge when cooking at home.
