Police: Man robs Amegy Bank in Houston Heights

amegy-robbery.gifHOUSTON-- Police are searching for a man who they said robbed a Houston Heights Amegy bank on Friday.

Police said that a man entered the bank, located at 2105 Taylor, and handed a note to the bank teller demanding cash.

The crime was captured by surveillance cameras.

The man is described as tall, medium build and wore clear glasses.

Witnesses said he fled the scene in a maroon-over-cream colored Ford F-250 or F-350 truck.
