The Richmond Police Department is asking for help in identifying a man who allegedly robbed a man at gunpoint at the Clean Machine Car Wash located at 2200 Thompson Highway in Richmond.
The victim said that he was washing a friend's truck when the suspect asked him for a dollar. He said that the suspect then pulled out a small semi-automatic handgun pointed it at him and demanded his wallet. Police say that the suspect ran off after the victim gave up his wallet which contained a large amount of cash. The suspect is described as being 5 feet 9 inches tall, 150 pounds, short hair, light to medium complexion in his early 20s. He was last seen wearing a blue and silver (or bright white) jersey and blue jeans. Anyone who knows anything about the crime is urged to call the Richmond Police Department at (281) 342-2849. |
