Police are investigating the mysterious disappearance of two Houston teenagers.

They say that around 9 p.m. Thursday, a 15- and 16-year-old brother and sister left their home in the 3200 block of Ripplebrook and Bathhurst to throw out the trash.

Their mother said the teens never returned home. She said it was the last time she saw her children.

The children, Jose Lazo and his sister Beatriz, are both in school. Neither showed up for class today.

HPD homicide is now on the case, but police will not say if any foul play is involved.

The Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office is looking for a suspect in a holdup at a Super K convenience store.

The robbery happened on Tuesday at the store on Townwest Blvd. in Sugar Land.

Investigators say a dark vehicle pulled into the parking lot and a man went into the store.
He held the clerk and gunpoint, took some money and ran.

HOUSTON--The search is on for two suspects police say killed a man on June 2. Officers found the body on the sidewalk at the Meadow Chase apartments in Southwest Houston.

Witnesses say the 51-year-old victim was fighting with two men before he was shot.
The suspects ran away from the apartments and still haven't been found.
Meadow Chase apartments are located on South Wilcrest at South Street.

HOUSTON--Charges have been filed against a suspect arrested in the fatal stabbing of a man in the 4000 block of Cavalcade on May 27.

The victim, Burt Lee Hopkins, 33, suffered a stab wound to the neck and was pronounced dead at LBJ Hospital. Roy Lee Powell is charged with his death.
