A suspect already arrested and charged in one fatal shooting is now charged in the fatal shooting of another man.

The suspect, David Van Collins, is charged with capital murder and is accused of killing of Drew Adair Schendel, 23, of Friendswood. Schendel suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was pronounced dead at the scene.

HOUSTON -- Another HISD employee is in trouble with the law. The unidentified worker was arrested Wednesday and charged with possession of marijuana, according to a statement from HISD.
The pot was found by a drug dog searching the employee parking lot at Wheatley High School.
The employee has been reassigned away from the school pending the outcome of the investigation.
