The case centers around 25-year-old Joaquin Osbiel Garcia.

Investigators say that on August 24, Garcia assaulted his estranged wife who lived at 15000 block of Rockington.

The victim reportedly told deputies that Garcia pulled a knife and pointed the blade at her.

The victim said she feared for her life and believed she was going to die.

Garcia was charged with aggravated assault-family member and a warrant was issued for his arrest.

Authorities believe that Garcia is still in the Houston area.
