Roach was killed in his apartment at about 4:30 a.m. on July 22 when at least two suspects entered his home. Police said there was no forced entry into the dwelling, leading them to believe Roach may have known his attacker(s).
The suspects beat Roach and then shot him twice. The apartment was ransacked and several items and some cash were stolen.
Roach was able to walk from the apartment to seek help, but collapsed a few doors down from his home and died.
Crime Stoppers will pay up to $5,000 for information leading to the charge or arrest of a suspect in the case.
