Joe Everett Foster Jr. has been charged with aggravated robbery. But the robbery ended with one man dead and another wounded. The deceased victim, Andrae Shelton, 28, suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the neck, chest and arms. The second victim suffered multiple gunshot wounds and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he underwent surgery. Police said Shelton and the second victim were standing outside of apartment #267 at 10700 Fuqua when Foster and Fredreck James Douglas approached them. The 4 men got into an argument and several shots were fired. Foster and Douglas then fled in a late model Dodge Magnum with a custom two-tone, black over silver paint job. While police were able to arrest Foster, they said Douglas is person they believe is responsible for the shooting. Fredreck Douglas is 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighs about 170 pounds. His hair is possibly in dreadlocks. He is believed to be in the Houston area after traveling to Florida to evade detention after the robbery and murder. Anyone with information on the whereabouts of Fredreck James Douglas is urged to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS. |
