On Monday, July 14, 2008, between 3:30 and 4:30 a.m., the thief entered a home in the 17500 block of Shadow Lawn Way through an unsecured window. Over the next hour he went into the garage and retrieved several items from one of the family vehicles. He also placed several computers and monitors on a couch near the window, for ease in exiting with the stolen goods. One family member heard noises around 4:30 a.m. and went to investigate. When she observed the suspect in the house, she yelled out. Her husband confronted the suspect inside the house before the suspect escaped through the window he originally entered. But this wasn't the burglar's first time. Police suspect he has targeted five other homes. Each time he has entered the home in the early morning hours.
