On February 28, 2008, a woman was walking in the 3800 block of Del Monte when she was approached by two men. The men forced her into the truck of a late-model four door silver or gray sedan and started to drive away. But the woman refused to give up. She was able to locate the emergency release in the trunk and took off running down the street. Not ready to let their victim get away, the kidnappers stopped the car and chased after the woman who was screaming for help. Witnesses heard her scream and the two men fled from the scene. Investigators have identified two possible suspects: Luis Arturo Salcido, 29, from Magnolia, Texas and Adam Troy Herrera, 46, from Waxahachie, Texas. Salcido and Herrera are also wanted for parole violations. They are believed to be somewhere in the State of Texas or possibly in the Laredo area. Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $11,000 for information leading to the arrest of these two dangerous men who are wanted for Aggravated Kidnapping.
