Fatal shooting at 7700 Corporate

Thumbnail image for Thumbnail image for policelogo.jpgHouston police are investigating the fatal shooting of a man at 7700 Corporate Drive at about 9:40 p.m. on July 26.

The victim, Arnold Avelar Funez, 22, of Houston, suffered a gunshot wound and was transported to Ben Taub General Hospital where he later died. According to reports, Funez was involved in a disturbance with the suspect in the parking lot of the apartment complex when the suspect shot the victim.

The suspect is described as a 15 to 20 year old Hispanic male.
