policelogo.jpgOn July 26, at 1:45 a.m., Carlton Earl Bauggue, his son and a few other friends were at a weekend gathering at a used car dealership on South Post Oak in Houston. Bauggue and his son were sitting in their car when they were approached by two unknown men who demanded their wallets.

While 55-year-old Bauggue and his son were being robbed, a fight broke out between one of the witnesses. One of the robbers apparently lost his cool because he shot Bauggue in the neck. Bauggue died at the scene.

The suspects then fled the scene on foot, running west on Trafalgar Street. Bauggue's son was not injured.

The two thieves are described as two black males, 18 to 25 years of age. They were seen getting into an unknown make and model vehicle.

Anyone with information on this case is urged to call the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
