Man shot outside his apartment

A man is in serious condition after he was shot outside of his apartment complex on Bissonnet and at Bonhomme early Monday morning.

Police said he was hit several times while walking on the sidewalk. They aren't sure if it was drive-by or if he knew the shooter.
