Man found lying in the street

A woman called Houston police at 2:15 a.m. Wednesday to tell them a man was shot and lying near the Coolwood Apartments on Fleming.

Initially, police couldn't find the victim, but HPD scoured the area and found him shot. He was taken to the hospital.
Police believe he was the victim of a robbery but have not yet had a chance to get clear information on a suspect.
